Defrosting Method
Heating Indirect or Direct
Conventional Microwave; Microwave heats the surface moisture of the food, and the heat penetrate from the outside to the inside. Microwave, so to say, indirectly heat the food. Heating surface moisture sometimes leads to baking surface while the heat doesn’t penetrate enough so the inside is still left frozen.

DRF compact Fröve; High frequency dielectric heating mechanism directly works on the foods’ molecules and the friction heat defrost the food. The food heats itself, so to say, and the food’s primary composition is kept; moisture doesn’t go away, the texture just comes back as it was before frozen.
